Tuna Fun Tuna Feast sa Magandang GenSan
We used to choose places where fun or simply happiness can
found to spend leisure time. Purely it’s because according to study laughter is
the best medicine and personally I agree with that! If we’re happy it seems
that problems disappear in a blink of an eye and the world seems like a
fairytale! Haha! That was just my point of view when it comes to happiness but
anyway I’m here to show a one of a kind place. A place were happiness leaves as
it is, but wait there’s something extra that makes this place more fun! It’s
the people itself! Yeah! No kidding! The people who leaves here makes this
place more popular in the country. Know why? Well let’s find out! Come, let’s
discover the wonder of this place why does the Fun leave here or merely let’s

General Santos City or simply known as the “TUNA CAPITAL of
the PHILIPPINES” is a city by the bay. It is bounded by the two provinces
namely Sarangani and South Cotabato. The city is also the gateway or portal of
the two provinces. The city is very accessible since it can be reach by land,
air, and sea since the city has its own Airport namely General Santos City
International Airport and the Port (Makar Warf) which is located at Makar. This
is the reason why GenSan looks like a stone away for those who leaves in

During the month September we have here the festival namely
“TUNA FESTIVAL” which also a celebration for the chartered anniversary of the
city. It’s a week long celebration that the Generals are waiting for. The
streets are full of decorations of different kind of fishes that makes the city
famous not only here in the Philippines but globally. The “oval plaza” was
enlightened with different stores of dress, toys, accessories, foods, mini zoo,
